DOUBLE STANDARD

People can not be separated from conflicts. People live as conflict lives. There must be a conflict wherever and whenever people live. The base cause of conflict is double standard application I think. It means that people give different appraisal which lean beneficial themselves to the others. Double standard can be fanaticism and misunderstanding.
Fanaticism is the way of believing doctrine strongly without paying attention the rightness of the other doctrines. Or we can say that the doctrine we has is the only one that is true in the world. Believing in doctrine, ideology, or something copiously make us feel that the other doctrines are wrong. As consequence double standard will de in our mind.
The second one which makes cause double standard is lack of understanding. Understanding some one‘s behavior, thought, etc. is important for you. Do not think that he/she does mistake on purpose to you. It may be caused of something unpredictable when he/she do it but you do not care as you do not know the fact, the real fact.
As the result of those two double standards, there are two effects that we should pay attention more to solve them, which are conflict and misunderstanding?
Conflict will be between two men if there is no mutual understanding one another. Like double standard, conflict can be caused by the fanaticism. As I told you before, we can not avoid the conflict if there is fanaticism inside our mind. Fanaticism always influences us in giving appraisal.
The second effect of double standard is misunderstanding. The cause of misunderstanding is lack of understanding. People who do not know well any doctrine will give negative appraisal when it is different with their doctrine. Considering that there is no right doctrine except what we have could create double standard. And as the result misunderstanding and conflict can not be avoided.
In conclusion, we must remember that we can not live without conflict. It can not be avoided as it is one of life elements. But we can solve it if there is no double standard applied in our lives.
